HAATCHI AND LITTLE B: THE INSPIRING TRUE STORY OF ONE BOY AND HIS DOG

Haatchi is an Anatolian Shepherd dog who as a puppy was tied to a railway track and left there, in an act of unthinkable cruelty, to be hit by a train. Remarkably he survived, was taken in by the RSPCA, but sadly his tail had to be amputated and he also lost a leg.
Owen is a seven year old boy, known to his family as Little B (for ‘Little Buddy’). Little B suffers from a rare genetic disorder called Schwartz-Jampel Syndrome, which causes his muscles to tense permanently. Largely confined to a wheelchair, Owen was withdrawn, anxious and painfully shy – until he met Haatchi. Their friendship has changed Owen’s life – he no longer feels the odd one out, as his friend Haatchi also has disabilities, and the adorable pair won a Friends for Life award at this year’s Crufts dog show – see the attached video.

Awards/获奖情况: "This is a story that would melt any heart!" (Paul O’Grady)

"Incredibly touching... a heartwarming true story" (The Lady)

"Fascinating and moving" (Bel Mooney Daily Mail)
